NATALIA LACOCQUE: ALL LEVELS of PIANO, E.S.L., MUSIC COMPOSITION or CLARINET, & Beg./Int. SPANISH. Natalia has a B.F.A. in Advertising Design and has been with The Language and Music School since the beginning! She attended Pre-K/K Spanish Immersion and then continued private lessons in Spanish & Piano. Her mother is from Cuba and her father from Belgium, so Natalia was raised in a trilingual home! She has a great passion for the Piano (having started at the age of 3½) and the English language: her family hosted Foreign Exchange Students for 4 years so she is very familiar with the needs of ESL students. |

KYLE KIRIAKOS: ALL LEVELS & STYLES of GUITAR, Beg./Int. THEORY-BASED MUSIC COMPOSITION, Beg. MANDOLIN, BANJO, UKULELE, or PIANO. Kyle has a B.A. in Music from Southern Illinois University. While at Southern, his main instrument was the Classical Guitar. He has played guitar for 12 years, learning various styles including classical, jazz, funk, bluegrass, and blues. He has taught various instruments over the years and is currently refining his teaching skills as a classroom counselor. |

She furthered her musical studies at The Music Center of the North Shore, Elmhurst College, & College of DuPage--where Valerie earned her Assoc.'s Degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. As a child, Valerie was passionate about music and participated in the Chicago French club--exposing her to the French language and culture. |

Melinda is an Actors' Equity Member and performs professionaly in musicals. She can teach breathing techniques, the difference between chest voice and head voice, and when to use vibrato--all of which are key elements for a Musical Theater audition! |

Born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay, Clementina had the opportunity in 2006 to audition at CCPA of Roosevelt University where she is now concluding her B.A. in Vocal Performance and Opera. She started teaching Spanish when she moved to the United States, and is currently tutoring Spanish students at Roosevelt University. |

She holds a BS & MA in Chemistry, & a Masters in Operations Research & Finance from the City University of New York, and Columbia Univ.. Fan has worked as a Senior Financial Assoc., & professional translator. Fan has taught Chemistry at the undergrad. level, is a Sunday school teacher for children ages 3-11, and teaches adult ESL in Chinatown. Fan has taught Mandarin Chinese to children and adults here at The School since 2008. |

IVETTE FRANCO: ALL LEVELS of SPANISH, E.S.L. or VOICE. Ivette holds a B.A. in Spanish and Literature, with a minor in Music from NIU. She has taught Spanish privately and to groups, and taught Spanish for 8 years at the High School level. Ivette is also a Jazz Vocalist and has played with many prominent jazz musicians. In 2003, she attended the Janice Borla Jazz Vocal Camp on scholarship. Ivette sings at private events and is working on a professional recording project. |

JOHN BREINIG: PERMANENT SUBSTITUTE FOR ALL INSTRUMENTS & LEVELS. John majored in Theory & Composition at Triton College and The American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. He has taught all levels of Bass instruction, with strong emphasis on Scales and Chord Progressions and as an electric bassist, he has an extensive performing career with numerous local bands. He has taught most levels of Piano instruction, with emphasis on Finger Independence and Elementary Theory and has composed a few pieces for Worship Services at his local church. |
